A: Because Bayview Coral Bay provides such a broad variety of accommodation types, we believe we are best equipped to answer any questions you might have and ensure you are aware of exactly what to expect from your time here. For this reason we prefer to handle all bookings ourselves.
Q: What standard of accommodation is available at Bayview Coral Bay?
A: Bayview Coral Bay is a small settlement in a remote location and with limited government facilities. Much of our accommodation is designed for the budget to mid priced family market, and while we provide a wide variety of clean and comfortable alternatives, none is in what could be considered the 'luxury' class.
Q: What wildlife can we expect to see?
A: Coral Bay is located on the edge of a vast, dry hinterland. At certain times of the year, native animals such as kangaroos, bungarras and large numbers of desert marsupials - or mice - visit the townsite in search of water and food. While the mice can at times be annoying, they are a protected species, so there is little we can do to stop them visiting. Many species of native birds and butterflies also frequent the grounds of Bayview Coral Bay.
Q: What do we need to bring with us?
A: Bed linen is provided in some of our accommodation. We will advise you at the time of booking whether you need to bring your own. Please bring your own beach towels. The Coral Bay Arcade shopping centre has a supermarket, bakery, newsagent & post office, dive shop, photo shop, boutique and nursing post. All are open seven days a week. Snorkelling gear is provided on some tours or can be hired at reasonable rates.
